Where can one buy good cigars in Lisbon?

I'm going to Portugal next week for a few weeks. I'm from the UK and enjoy Cuban cigars (Cohiba, Upmann, Bolivar, Hoyo etc.)

I'll be staying near Lisbon and would like to pick some up for while I'm out there.

Thanks for any pointers!

Best answer: At Casa Havaneza. I have to say, though, that I know nothing about cigars, and I've never bought them. However, that shop has been around since forever and I always see the humidifiers with the cigars when I walk by. And literally the name means "House of Havana", so I can't see how you could possibly go wrong.

You have one in Largo do Chiado (historical centre of town, metro station Baixa/Chiado), and the other one I know is at the Centro Comercial Colombo (Colombo Mall), metro station Colégio Militar/Luz.

I hope you have a great time here :)

Response by poster: So I went to Casa Havaneza yesterday - have to say, a little disappointing.

In the front of the shop, they have a small collection of cigars in a few cabinet humidors. I got the impression they have a members area around back but no more cigars as far as I could tell.

In any case, I still managed to pick up a couple of boxes!
