Will she end up with a crown or looking like a clown?

My aunt wants to go to Central America for a dental vacation. Has anyone done this before, and if so, do you have any clinics/travel services you'd particularly recommend (or veto?)

She needs several crowns, a root canal, and is considering veneers for considerable staining. She and her husband would particularly like to go to Costa Rica but are flexible. I found this FPP on Mexican clinics, and this AskMe on Americans seeking care in Canada, and this about Dental tourism in Thailand, but no recommendations for Central America! Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

When we were in Mazatlan we noticed there were a lot of Americans (and Canadians - dental is not covered by public heath care) who came for dental work. From talking to people we got the impression the standard of care was fairly high. Sorry dont have more detailed info.
