Reasonable hotels in Glasgow?

I'm hoping to spend a few days in Glasgow in September but I'm hitting a wall in finding a hotel because of the cost hike due to the single supplement which in some cases is more than the actual cost of the room. Any singletons out there been to the city and stayed in a reasonably priced hotel?

I use this site when I need to find cheap accomodation in the UK. It's not very pretty but it has a hell of a lot of hotels/b&bs listed.

How much would you like to spend? There are plenty of places will put you up for £60-80 a night, or there are hostels that cost vastly less.
