Shoe repair recommendations in Portland, OR? The girlfriend's beloved 14-eye Docs need insole repair. Anyone know of a good shop?

Neither Docs- nor insole-specific, but my better half has had good luck getting boots re-heeled at Derek's Shoe Repair in Morgan's Alley. Your gal can browse for lids at Pinkham Millinery while she's there. Come to think of it, the Docs store is just a few blocks up Broadway... did you ask them if they had a recommended cobbler?

Even if they weren't Docs the only place you should go is Dorians. But since they are Docs, I'm pretty sure that Dorian's is the only place that can handle them (that's what I've been told by other cobblers around town).
