Looking for an old TV

Help me find an outdated portable TV set.

I'm looking for a Sony portable TV from the 1970s/early 1980s. As I recall the screen was probably 5"-8" inches in width, with a silver frame and a long, woodgrain box (?) for the tubes. Unfortunately, I don't have a model name or number, which has made seeking it out a pain in the ass. The TV looked something like this; this is the closest i've been able to find on eBay, but it's still a little off. (If this helps anyone, it made a recent cameo appearance in Zodiac -- one of the reporters [Paul Avery?] had one on his desk.) To my knowledge, it wasn't a Trinitron.

Does this ring any bells? It seemed ubiquitous during my early 1980s youth, but actually finding one on the intarwebs has been a huge challenge.

wow, the first link looks like my "rhapsody"-- made in china, 1991, according to the label.

however, the rhapsody i have is a clear box, you can see all the stuff inside. it was a popular model in prisons because any contraband would supposedly be visible.

i got it at a goodwill type store for a couple bucks last summer. it's a b&w set and it has the exact same dials like in your picture.

well, i'd say that's a rhapsody in the pic, and unfortunately not what you are looking for!

Response by poster: Thanks for the tips, subatomiczoo. When I imagegoogle'd "portable sony TV", that was the first hit that came up that wasn't a Watchman, which is why I linked to it...
