East Bay Drum Sander Rental

Does anyone know of a place where I can get some time on a drum sander near Oakland, CA?

My first thought is The Crucible (thecrucible.org), which I believe is in West Oakland.

I'm familiar with The Crucible but thought their shop was only available if you were taking a class there. I've shot them an email to verify though.

Or the Berkeley Tool Lending Library may have some ideas.

I didn't see sanders on their list--they don't always have bigger equipment--but they might be worth asking.

Some other possibilities: The Sawdust Shop and Techshop. Both are in the South Bay.

Sawdust Shop would be perfect but it's about an hour away, trying to find somewhere a little closer to home.

Hertz Equipment Rental in Berkeley might have what you need. I saw a Drum Sander listed under Electrical Tools and Equipment / Sanders.
Also, some Home Depots have a Tool rental section - looks like the Oakland, Hayward, and Hercules stores have rental departments.
