Online radio stations that play French rap ...

I like French rap and want to hear more of it right now. I used to have a link to an online radio station but it seems to be out of commission. Where can I hear this for free right now?

Have you made a station on Pandora?

Best answer: Try this rap show from CISM, the Université de Montréal campus station.

Response by poster: Thanks....but I just tried them all. Lina Sun Line is playing Souljah Boy and Daft Punk, which I definitely don't want to hear. I should've said that I'm not just looking for a French pop station that might occasionally play French rap. I definitely have no use for the latest hits from America. It turns out I can't use Pandora because I live outside the US. I might try to tune in to the CISM show on Saturday but it seems to say that they play anglophone hip-hop ... anyway, that seems the most promising so far, but is there not a station that just plays French rap all day long?

Didn't you scroll down the page at all? It's got archived shows for listening and lists of songs they have played in recent shows.

Response by poster: Oh! I thought that was something different. My French isn't fantastic. Thanks.

Best answer: Not really answering your question, but I highly recommend the album 73 Touches by Hocus Pocus. Really dope.

Best answer: Skyrock, premier sur le rap !
the biggest hip hop station out of Paris. they play a lot of American rap music too, of course, but.. on the site are lots of videos of French artists plus they play a lot of them on air as well. maybe about 50-50 though it's been a while since I listened to it.

I don't know of one that plays exclusively French hip hop, I'm afraid.

Just go to YouTube and type in the names of some popular artists and surf the related videos. IAM, Fonky Family, Passi are good ones to start with.

Best answer: You could also try Last.fm. Here's a channel generated from artists similar to the (fantastic) IAM.
