Remote access client for SDVR
March 13, 2008 8:53 AM

I need to find a remote access client for a generic standalone DVR system. I have it installed on one computer but it's not clear what company it comes from and I can't find the software (more inside).

Here's the info I know.
The SDVR uses port 9013 and the software that it uses is called dvrremote.exe. It's installed in a file called c:\Program Files\SDVR\dvrremote.exe.

I just need another copy of this, or an alternative software to connect to the dvr and view the cameras. I have physical access to the SDVR if needed, but there are no distinguishing marks on it to tell me who made it. The serial number label is unreadable. Thanks!

The only mention of the software I could find online is here, with a listing of files - that sounds to me like what you're looking for. One thing that's worth a shot is to look at that file listing and duplicate the changes to another PC, essentially installing the software by hand.

The link on that site to download is broken, but the site the download was at (kobicctv.com) is still around. You could try contacting them to see whether they can help you out - they're probably the ones who made your PVR.

Wait, no; the link to the download site is broken, but the link to the actual file is good. Here it is - you may have to right-click/save.
