Help me not mangle this name!

What is the correct phonetic pronunciation for Tite Kubo (creator of Bleach)? Thanks!

I am giving a talk next week where I reference Kubo's use of the face fault in Bleach, and I don't want to mess up his name. Thanks for helping me sound on the ball!

Evidently it's Taito Kubo, but "Tite" is definitely a non-standard way to write that.
