I'm trying to find a place that rents out soft boxes/umbrellas for outside rentals in Boston. I have a studio in my school that I am using for photo shoots but I do not have a soft box nor an umbrella which I desperately need. I am wondering if there are any places that rent them out for a day or two. Thanks in advance!

Try Calumet (617-576-2600, www.calumetphoto.com). I don't have experience with the Boston one, but the New York one has these things.

I would try some photo stores.

I would call Calumet in Cambridge as mentioned above. I had to rent a camera recently and people told me they were the only ones in the area doing rentals.
