Is there a free alternative to WS-FTP?

ok, I really like WS-FTP, but am looking for a free alternative. (mo-mo)
I like the ease of use of ws. Everything is easy to figure out, easy to see whats going on. Especially, you don't have to type commands. so I'm looking for a free alternative. good UI a must. What do other mefis use?

CoreFTP lite
I liked it better than filezilla at least because coreftp makes it easier to download all of the files with names *foo*.bar.

2nd for SmartFTP, but personally, I use webDrive. It's not free, but sometimes it's good to buy software.

I'll second FileZilla.
I switched from WS_FTP as it seemed to be taking a while to upload stuff to my website. FileZilla flies!

If you want WS-FTP LE know you have to tell them that you are a student.

oh thats good, since i am!
LE seems like the way to go, since it's ws-ftp afterall. however, what the hell, I'm going to check out filezilla and core. i'll also look at this webdrive business, just out of curiousity. thanks everyone!

You might look at LeechFTP. It was the first free FTP client I ran across when I was looking for one for the Windows box, and it has satisfied my needs well enough that I haven't bothered looking for others. It's not being developed anymore but seems to work fine still.
