Los Angeles CA Range Rover owners - If I buy a 2000 Range Rover in good condition/edmunds.com price where should I have it serviced in the Glendale or Silver Lake areas? Also, feel free to throw in comments on to buy or not to buy (I understand that this is a needy vehicle).

Sweet ride but definitely needy. The major components of the car -- engine, transmision, etc. -- are all pretty rock solid but the other stuff like the air suspension (in particular), electronics, etc. can be a real pain and also quite pricey to get fixed. If you're already comfortable with the fact that it's gonna need more attention than your average car, then it sounds like you're going into things with a pretty reasonable attitude. And I firmly believe that all Land Rovers have a personality and a soul. Get to know yours.

Don't have any specific recommendations on shops to use there but these guys will: http://www.britishpacific.com/ They'll also be a good local source for parts and accessories...
