tubing near Truckee

Quick: what's the best place to go sledding/tubing near Truckee, CA?

I'm in a mini van with family, on the way to buy some cheap sleds. We had planned on going tubing at the Boreal resort, but they are litigation-crazed and only 1 tube is allowed on the run at a tme, resulting in an hour wait between rides. Looking for non-commercial sledding areas or resorts that are actually fun.
