webcam for EEE?

Webcam that is compatible with the Asus EEE surf?

Or any webcam that will work with linux. Preferably out of box, plug in and go, with no software to install (the asus has no cd/dvd drive).

IIRC, the eee-pc has a webcam built in, doesn't it?

The "surf" model does not have a built in webcam Happy Dave.

Logitech quickcams are generally Linux friendly... there used to be a pretty comprehensive list somewhere that eludes me right now.

I, however, have the full version... and I'm sitting in an airport posting this with it right now! Wooo!

Somebody asked the same question at the EeeUser forums, though there is only one response so far. Apparently the Creative Live Optia VF0270 works.
