Seeking Internet in Durango, CO

I am going to Durango, CO around Christmas. I'll be there for a few days and may need Internet access, but can't quite determine what's available to someone who isn't living there. (It looks like EvDO is not an option there...) Any one out there live there or visit often?

Do you need internet where you're staying, or can you go to a coffee shop and get your web stuff done? Much of downtown has free wifi; last time I was there we hung out at the Steamworks Brewing Co. to get internet access.

I've stayed a few places in Durango, and all of them had free Wifi and I had no trouble getting connected.
