Looking for a kids t-shirt supplier
November 22, 2007 12:49 PM   RSS feed for this thread Subscribe

Where would I order small quantities of cheap but good-quality plain long-sleeve t-shirts for kids?

Cheap ≤$4.50 (incl. shipping to Italy per unit); small quantity = 200; good-quality = 200-230g. (They're to be hand-stencilled.)

I was under the impression there would be plenty of Asian suppliers - but it's proving nearly impossible to navigate the jungle of wholesaler/distributor/trade sites. Any pointers?

I bought a bunch of tshirts to use with inkjet tshirt transfers a few times. In my experience its better to go with quality brand-name shirts like Hanes. Cheaper no-name shirts tend to be lighter and do not hold up as well after being washed a few times.

I wuold say find the exact brand and model of shirt that you want, and search around for all of the sites that sell it. You should end up with 20+ suppliers that you can pick from that will give you the best price to ship 200 shirts to you.

You don't need an Asian supplier for just 200 shirts. I used to run a screen printing shop and we mostly ordered from ssactivewear.com and carolinamade.com (local to my shop at the time). A more national distributor would be broderbros.com. There are hundreds of these places, check your phone book.
