Can you help find the author of this photo?

Can you identify this photo of a precocious little girl curled up with the Foucault Reader?
Asking for a friend:
This image has made the rounds on myspace profiles and blogs, but I've never seen it attributed to anyone. A colleague would love to feature it in an upcoming project, but would need to contact the author for permission.
Can anyone help locate the original source of the image?

Is it important that your colleague use that particular shot? Or would a new photo of the same subject work? It would be easy enough to shoot hire someone to shoot a new, similar one.... kids and books are pretty easy to come by!

Did you try going to the user then using FlickrMail to send them the same message?

Response by poster: Thanks, folks.
wackybrit - we have contacted a few of the folks who have posted the image to see if they know the source. I was thinking this might be quicker.
blaneyphoto - the eventual use of the photo might be somewhat prominent. While it would be a simple enough shot to reproduce, I'd be hesitant to suggest "copying" someone else's image without first trying to contact them for permission to use it.

"I'd be hesitant to suggest "copying" someone else's image "
Absolutely. Which is why I suggested a SIMILAR image. However, I bet that with little effort, one could dig up many similar "girl reading a book" images that pre-date this one - who'd be copying who? And in the end, I'm sure that the only thing that might tie them together would be the book used in the image.
Regardless, I'm glad you're making an effort to find the copyright holder. Also.... if the use is going to be prominent, will the image as it is suffice? Maybe bigger versions are making the rounds, but that's pretty low quality for anything other than web use. Just something to consider if you haven't already!
