What would be a cool present from LA?

When I lived in London, I used to bring US friends stuff from Harrods or Harvey Nichols as gifts. Now that I live in LA, what roughly equivalent gifts could I send to people in the UK? Bonus points if it's specifically related to LA, although just US related is good too.
Specifically, I'm looking for a present for my 67 year old aunt who lives in the middle of nowhere in Scotland, but I'm open to all suggestions.

I think something from Fred Segal or Kitson would be pretty L.A.

So do Bloomingdales &/ or Fred Segal do specifically Bloomingdalesy/ Fred Segally gifts - like Harrods champagne for example?

If your aunt uses her Harrods bag as a tote, you can pick her up Bloomingdale's equivalent "Little Brown Bag." I'd skip Fred Segal and Kitson. They're pretty expensive, and I don't believe the brands would mean much to a 67-year-old, unless she's a big fan of the shopping habits of young Hollywood.
My pick for a memorable souvenir would be a California-shaped mug from the rotating cocktail lounge atop the downtown Westin Bonaventure, plus a promise that if she ever visits, you'll take her for a drink there.
That's right, a mug shaped like the state of California. And take my advice: when you ship it, use plenty of bubble wrap.

Chocolate infused with hot peppers is always a huge hit, especially with older folks.

2nd a box of See's. Not only is it a California original, but your aunt may not believe how good real chocolate tastes, as all she may know is that veg-oil Cadbury's crap. (Don't know from "infused with hot peppers" though, that sounds like an abomination.)
