What are some good blogs about DVD collecting? I'm looking more in terms of cinephilia, where the creator discusses personal and collective aspects of a certain DVD. Thanks!

Might not be exactly what you are looking for, but my film-lover friend subscribes to the Criterion Collection e-newsletter, and in looking up that link I discovered they also have a blog.

Related to Brittanie's answer, there's the Criterion Contraption in which a guy attempts to review every Criterion release.

I read a couple of them and some certainly weren't bad reviews.

I've always been a big fan of glenn erickson for both his cinematic knowledge (artistic as well as extensively historical) and his treatment of specific dvd releases of a film.
