How did my body become my fathers?

When did you realize your body turned into your father's and how did it make you feel?

When I was a kid, I looked at my dad's body and just thought, "ick...hairy, old, nasty. I'm never going to look like that when I'm his age." I questioned my mom's judgment for finding him attractive. Lately, the more I look at myself in the mirror, the more I think I look like him. I exercise regularly and avoid the sun, so I'm thinner and my skin is younger looking, but in general, I see my father when I look in the mirror. I'm 26 and I feel like an older man, but maybe that's just because I associate my current appearance with a man that's always going to be 30 years older than me.

This post was deleted for the following reason: chatfilter. "...if your motivation for asking the question is 'I would like to participate in a discussion about X,' then you shouldn't be doing it in AskMe. If your motivation is 'I would like others to explain X to me,' then you're probably OK."

you're 26, it's too early to be busted. go to the gym or something and worry about looking like an old man when you're, like, 50.

Heh. The past two months, at age 27.5. I suddenly sprouted a liquid grain silo around my midsection (even though I haven't changed my exercise or eating habits in years and my doctor's starting to make clucking noises about sticking cameras up my bum.

I was in my 30s. Because it's a normal part of aging, I was fine with it, as it beats the alternative.

How is this not chatfilter?
