Help me find my favorite bean in upstate NY... I'm hungry!

I've just moved to Ithaca, NY, and I'm desperate to find pinquitos (a small, pink bean) somewhere, either online or in the area. Back home it was just a matter of popping down to Safeway and picking up a can of S&W, but I can't find them in any of the grocery stores here (even Wegman's!) or at any of the online grocers who'll ship to the area. I realize this sounds slightly obsessive, but I'm craving this recipe that requires the cursed things, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Try Greenstar, the local organic co-op, which has a bulk section with lots of beans (I don't think I've seen pinquitos there, but I've never really looked, and it's at least worth a try). If that doesn't pan out, it looks like you can buy dried pinquitos online at the Rancho Gordo Store.

Maybe, once you find a supplier, we should have an Ithaca meetup and taste the results.

In case Ourobouros suggestions don't work out: This website says they'll ship anywhere, even international. Not canned though, is that an issue for you?

Ludgate Farms carries a bunch of dried beans... might be worth a call.
