Where to buy checks online?

I'm running low on personal bank checks. Does anyone know of a good place to find them online? I'd especially like to know of a site that is easy to navigate. Low prices would be great; free printable checks even better.

Checks in the Mail seems to work.

I've always found ordering checks directly from my bank to be the cheapest and most hassle-free. I would think that most banks have some sort of online check ordering ... thingy ... implemented. For lack of a better word.

Bank of America uses Clarke American. $17 a box (incl. s&h) for the most basic versions.

Best answer: I asked the same question a few months ago. See this thread. There were some great responses which should meet your needs.

If you do not care at all what your checks look like, you can get them really cheaply from Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart also lets you design your own, with your own photo

Piggyback question: know any places that have kind of hipster, bizarre, artistic checks?

Carousel Checks came out second cheapest for me when I reordered two months ago (I don't remember which option narrowly beat them on price but was eliminated because of script crankiness about how I wanted my address to be printed).

Carousel Checks is $3.89 for 200 checks. Xere: Do NOT buy your checks from your bank for seventeen dollars. No!

I would be a little bit scared that they sell my address.
I once ordered small address stickers. Since this day I got TONS of junk mail. You can't have it all I guess.

Response by poster: Thanks for all the info. By the way, I did look on the web and there were so many sites, I decided to tap into the hive mind instead. Sure enough, it knew where to go. Carousel Checks will get my order.
