'80sTVMovieFilter: Does anyone remember the title of a teen-witch-war-in-high-school made-for-TV horror movie from the early '80s?

Um...that's really all I've got. Except that it probably included the typical elements you'd expect -- cute prep witch who's good and only now discovering her powers; evil bad girl witch who's, like, bad, and et cetera. The one scene I remember involves bad witch casting a spell to take out good witch's earnest jock boyfriend, whose van explodes into flames and careens off a pier. Probably 1980-82 or thereabouts. Anybody?

Worst Witch? (A little late, though - 1986)

OMG, I loved this movie. It's not out on dvd, but it is YouTube-able

Response by poster: Yeah, a word of warning about that: Not only does one of the parts seem to be missing, but I don't think this can possibly be the entire movie -- since I think it's about half an hour long! Unless I'm very much mistaken, this kinda feels like the user's favorite scenes...it's in chronological order, but it sure seems...choppy? Hmmmmmm. eBay lists a lot of VHS copies, and disc bootlegs aren't hard to find. The abbreviated YT version reveals a much better movie than I had dared hope.

It looks like that's part 1 that FreezBoy linked to - all 10 parts of the movie seem to be in that menu in the left there.

The menu in the *right*.

Response by poster: Right, but the sum total of those parts adds up to way less than even a 90-minute run time, and altogether seems to be less than completely coherent. (One of the parts -- I think it was part 4 doesn't seem to be there at all, but maybe the poster just broke the naming convention.) Anyway, not to bitch over something posted (and linked to!) out of the goodness of people's hearts (thanks, FreezBoy!), just a heads-up.
