thrift store axe needs TOP doc

who-- in the bay/northbay area-- should repair the headstock/neck joint cracks on my 1963 marcelino lopez flamenco guitar?

believe it: $24.30!

after pulling it from beneath the pesticide spray canister, "frankie say" t-shirt and "left behind" series (nearly complete on audiotape) in the shopping cart at the back of the thrift store, i want to treat this beauty right.

You might try Gryphon Stringed Instruments in Palo Alto.

John F. Mello is known, somewhat? I mean to say I know him but not through is guitar-fixin'. But also he seems great and is ALSO a really nice guy who knows guitars. So that's good! Call him up and see what he says!

This place, in Tiburon, was recommended to me literally 15 minutes ago.

hmmm. gryphon and mello both sound good. i prefer someone with experience repairing this sort of guitar even though i dont think the repair is too significant.

any other votes?

thanks to you all!
