Who is this fantastic young guitarist?

I have seen this guitarist on a couple of videos. Does anyone know who he is? He is a phenom.

Best answer: Isn't the answer on the page? Anyway, here is a good article about him I saw in the New York Times (Registration Req'd).

We're talked about him on MetaFilter before.

This guy is certainly a great guitarist. However, I can't help but feel he gained his fame from a rendition of a song that JerryC actually arranged. JerryC originally posted his version of Canon online which prompted multiple copycats. This guy is one of those.

JerryC's website.

Response by poster: I am embarrassed that I did not scroll down the page and see the bio of the guitarist. Thanks so much. My face is red.

Your favourite fantastic guitarist sucks! I loathe Pachelbel's Canon in D.

But this version is almost tolerable.

I was taught a sweep-picking version of this piece for electric guitar in 1988, along with the Circle of Fifths and Circle of Fourths, so I do not think that anyone who claims YouTube priority is going to be the first word on the topic.
