An olive without a pimento

When an olive is missing it's pimento, some famous literary person (possibly Dorothy Parker) said that a little mischievous creature was responsible. What was the name of this creature?

This is totally a shot in the dark, but a boggle?

Response by poster: Nope, not a boggle. It was something pixie-ish. Googling "olive pimento theif" and such turns up nothing. Searching for Dorothy Parker quotes found nothing. The D. Parker society has a forum, but I can't access it. It's beginning to make me crazy.

Make sure you're searching using both spellings of pimento/pimiento and that you're spelling thief correctly.

i don't remember dorothy parker on olives, but here's what she said about martinis:

i'll drink one martini
maybe two at the most
after three i'm under the table
after four i'm under the host.

I can take one or two at the most
Three and I'm under the table
Four and I'm under the host

Are you 100% sure it was Parker?

Response by poster: No, not 100% sure it was Parker. I knew the name of the creature maybe 5 years ago, and now I've forgotten. An old girlfriend told me of this pixie or fairy with a funny little name and it's only food was the pimento that it stole out of olives. The gf was a real big Parker fan at the time, and I always thought it was Parker's made up name.
