"Frolic and Detour"? posted by enrevanche at 7:39 AM on January 24, 2007
Hmm, I'm a fan of Frolic and Detour and Proposition 184. Also thought of "off sometimes" after looking at a different thread (because we're not very good, and everybody beats off sometimes).
Not to go meta on this, but there seem to be (at least) several different approaches here: (a) merely legally referential ("ambulance chasers," "legal eagles"); (b) referencing law and bowling ("move to strike"); (c) potentially amusing team names but bearing no relation to law or bowling ("off sometimes"). I had assumed you wanted (b), at which "move to strike" rules, but . . . you may want to clarify. The hive needs to know what kind of honey you want. posted by Clyde Mnestra at 8:07 AM on January 24, 2007

You could also combine the last names of the players and make it sound like the name of a law firm posted by dripdripdrop at 8:36 AM on January 24, 2007
I hope it's not too offtopic to say that I actually really like "Attractive Nuisance", which struck me as funny and creative. That it doesn't have anything to do with bowling is part of its charm. posted by teleskiving at 9:25 AM on January 24, 2007
