What's the name of that song in the film Scream?

What's the name of the song that's playing in the movie scream when Matthew Lillard's character is chasing people?

I have only seen clips from this movie.

A friend has asked this question. She saw this movie when she was young and the song and the actor still gives her the creeps. She can't hum the song, nor can she say who sang it.

I know that Red Right Hand (a Nick Cave composition) features prominently in all the Scream movies.
