Anybody know of a good source for double-sided, silver-colored, cheapo cufflinks like the ones that came with my shirt?
I lost the originals on my way around town after dropping my shirt off to be drycleaned. I need cufflinks to keep the French cuffs together.
Nordstrom no longer carries the shirt, and when I got in touch with them, they just tried to sell me some expensive cufflinks. Boo. Getting expensive ones would be silly, because they would cost more than the shirt.
Even though I realize they're not special (they came with the shirt, after all), I kind of liked these– they had a large rectangular piece on both sides, instead of a bar on one side, and were very simple and subtle, yet spiffy. I've tried eBay and Google, but most cufflinks I've found have either been expensive or have a bar on one side.
I've looked through the suggestions here , but most were the bar type (not double sided) or were too expensive.

If there's one in your area, H&M has a nice assortment of cufflinks. They range from simple to ostentatious. I imagine they have the style your describing or something similar. They're all 3-6 dollars.

Under $15 dollars would be best. H&M sounds like they might have what I need, but I was surprised to see that they don't have an online store. I'll probably check them out next time I'm in the area, but I'd be thrilled if I could find an online resource.

These are vintage and sterling silver and something like what you're looking for. Plus they're cheap. I found them by searching for "Double Cufflinks."

My mom got my boy a pair for Christmas last year (to go with one specific shirt); I think they came from Target.

I like silk knots for everyday wear. You can get nice ones for a couple dollars at Brooks Brothers.

Seconding the recommendations for silk knots. Nice cufflinks are great, but if you can't get nice chain-link cufflinks, bypass the cheap snap-open torpedo ones and just wear silk knots.

I saw some at Goodwill yesterday that came from Target. They looked great.

Yeah, funny story: I actually lost mine somewhere in Goodwill. They haven't put them out for sale, so I'm assuming they're gone.
