Sleep inducing, relaxing recliners? Where do I get one?

Does anyone who makes/where to get those extremely comfortable recliners/chairs? I was in a home audio demo room earlier and they had the most comfortable recliner there. It also reminded me of these chairs that were in the business building of the school I went to (Case Western). You could literally sit in one for 5 minutes and you were asleep.

I've worked in a furniture store a long time, and the lazboy, ekornes brands didn't do it for me. Does anyone have any recommendations? Under 2k would be nice.

Can you give us a little more information? Was it one that comes with a separate knee/footstool? Leather? Fabric? There are a million choices out there.

I have a Spinlife. www.spinlife.com
It is dual purpose for my wife. It fully reclines (flat) and it is a lift-chair that she needs as she cannot standup easily from any chair. She loves it. And it is super comfortable. It cost $1200 including shipping.

My husband sleeps in a recliner and has specific requirements -- if you worked at furniture store you know how important it is to try them out yourself for fit and comfort.

He's bought them at Costco and Costco Home, and most recently at reclinerland. He chooses the one that gives him the lumbar support in the exact right spot for his back. These weren't necessarily the most expensive in the store.

Best answer: I think a typical dental chair is comfy enough to drowse in, and I hate going to the dentist. Might not look so good in your living roomj, though.

My father has chairs like this. The bomber-style leather is the greatest. Sleep inducing for sure.

I have this one in this ugly illustration by Chairworks. Lame name, but comfy and separate footstool, so not a heavy system. Got it at Magnolia home audio. It's what they seat you in when you audition speakers and stereo systems. Around $600. Expensive but a long-term purchase. I have few furniture possessions, but this one is worth keeping. My friends love it... great lumbar support which is rare for a lounging chair.

Chairworks website is very out-of-date. Just go to Magnolia store.
