It's not easy dyeing green.

How should I dye my beige leather purse a moss green color? Do it myself? Take it to a professional? (in NYC)

I have an old leather purse which is still in good condition, but I would be much happier with it if it was green. How much does this normally cost to take to a professional? Do you have any recommendations for someone in NY?
or
Should I try it myself at home? What products should I use? (leather not suede, there are a lot of seams and zippers if that matters)

Thanks!

Take it to a shoe repair that does shoe/leather dying. I've seen some wild color choices in places that do Wedding party shoes.
