Autocopy System wide

I would like text I highlight to be put on the clipboard automatically, no need to push Ctrl-c. Is there anything like Firefox's AutoCopy extension but system wide (winXP)?

What you're looking for is X-style copy/paste semantics.

This apparently does it, but I've never used it.

Since this has been answered for winXP - anything like this for OS X?
