I need to change the backup battery on my Roland Juno-60 synthesizer.

I know little to nothing about electronics, but have colleagues who could probably get the job done with the proper guidance. The more explicit the instructions the better, but we could start with:

1. What kind of battery do I need (and where could I purchase one)?
2. Where does the damn thing, y'know, go?

Thank you for helping me not pay out the wazoo to a questionable repair place!

it'll be a round, thin, flat battery that looks a bit like a quarter. the best place to ask is on the analogue heaven mailing list. they know their analogue.

Frequently, these things are not user serviceable on instruments. It's a racket, yes, but a profitable one.
