Streaming....not so much

What is causing my streaming video or audio to skip?

As of Saturday I'm unable to view or listen to steaming anything without having to endure skipping and stalling. This is on my 4 month old HP Pavilion laptop.

I haven't installed any new programs or done anything different when this started happening. Rebooting has not solved the problem.

Can someone help me get rid of this? Thanks!

Do you notice and bandwidth problems when connected to the Internet? I often times get this problem when I'm using other bandwidth intensive programs or the network is slow.

Your program might also not be getting the resources it needs to stream properly. Go to Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete) and right click on your program, Set Priority, and change it to High.

Try a disk check and a defragment.
