#32 And if you can't think of anything that means something to both of you, may we recommend: anything by John Donne, W.H. Auden, Octavio Paz, or Rilke and Page 154 of Philip Roth's Saddath's Theater.

Please help me find an old GQ article entitled, "82 Ways To...Take Back the Wedding." It's from June 2004, before the online archive got off the ground.
I remember that article. I don't know where else to find it, but if you find an e-copy, let us know!

Are you sure that's the date/title? I did a few searches of GQ and some more general searches using an online database I have access to

Best answer: This is what libraries are for. Head to your local public library and ask for:
82 WAYS TO… TAKE BACK THE WEDDING. By: Martin, Brett; Maroukian, Francine; Raftery, Brian; Robischon, Noah; Seller, John; Rainey, Candice; Moritz, Robert; Gilbert, Elizabeth; Hylton, Wil S.. GQ: Gentlemen's Quarterly, Jun2004, Vol. 74 Issue 6, p150-169, 11p, 1 chart, 18c, 4bw; (AN 13319414)

Response by poster: Heh. I didn't even think of a -public- library. I figured that if my university didn't have it, I was SOL. Thanks all!

wow, amazing. I just went into the database that I have access to and they have most of the articles in that issue but not that one for some reason (copyright? dunnow...) You may want to make sure to tell the librarian that the article isn't available in the Thompson-Gale General Reference Center database, in case they try what I tried.
