Help me find shoes for my big, wide, male feet in London.

How does a male with boat-sized (46WW) feet get them decently shod in London without going broke or the custom-made route?

Since they (the feet) often bother me, I usually have custom-made shoes, which are very expensive. My last pair wore out, and I haven't gotten around to replacing them so I've been wearing walking sandals. (Work attire is quite casual where I live, and I'm a techie, not a banker.) But I have to be in London for meetings this week and my better half has been telling me that sandals in the big city will not do. So where can a man with big feet like me buy respectable business shoes in London that would fit but won't break the bank? I've searched but there only seem to be suggestions for ladies. Custom-made is out, since I'll only have half a day or so for shopping.

No idea what size that is in English money, but I have size 13 shoes (largely impossible to get in shops), and often buy from Walktall by mailorder. Think they'll do next day delivery if you pay for it. They're not wildly cheap, and the range isn't astounding, but you will find some bloody big shoes there in a business style.

Also, just remembered a shop called High and Mighty, of which there are several in London (one I know of on Edgware Road). Not at all my cup of tea, and expensive from what I remember, but I'm pretty sure that they will have outsized formal shoes.

I've never seen a width designation added to the European sizes as you show. You give no email in your addy. I have big, wide feet too! In the States, I manage okay. Everywhere else I've lived has been difficult (Germany, UK, South Africa).

Where did you get the 'WW' part of the size? Is it common someplace? Sometimes I fit a 46, usually not wide enough. Some shoes in the States I fit okay with a 13 (I'm happy with lots of toe room), others are okay with a 12D.
