fitpod is a pretty good all-around fitness blog with specific categories for both running and swimming. Be sure to check out the mixes there or head over to podrunner. Great stuff at set BPM to help you pace. posted by geekyguy at 3:19 PM on August 18, 2006
I really dig enduranceplanet.com. Not a blog, but a podcast instead. All kinds of neat folks have rolled through there... I've actually learned a ton about both running and swimming from listening to these pieces.
As far as running goes, if you're looking for news and whatnot, you might wanna check out marathonguide.com. posted by ph00dz at 5:07 PM on August 18, 2006
Sam Thompson is wrapping up 51 marathons in 50 states in 50 days (and corresponding blog) this week. LetsRun.com covers college and professional running and has a lively message board for any kind of question. posted by Frank Grimes at 5:53 PM on August 18, 2006
Thanks sagwalla -- Ben's blog is an example of exactly what I'm looking for. His attitude is inspirational.
And geekyguy -- the iPod + activity combo is something I rely on and see a lot of possibility in -- thanks for the link. posted by 10ch at 11:54 AM on August 21, 2006
