Sexual behaviour stats?

Can anyone here point me to a website or know the approx. percentage of couples in North America who regularly use sex toys including vibrators with intercourse? Thanks!

I'm not sure if anyone's going to have an accurate number for something like that, but the San Francisco Sex Information hotline or site might be a good place to ask.

Research into market penetration of vibrators hasn't really been done it seems. In fact, I can't find any sort of research into the sex toy trade.

I seriously doubt anyone has statistics like that. About the best you might do is to find sales statistics on sex toys -- but the fact that they've been purchased doesn't mean they've been used, and you couldn't assume that each such was purchased by a different person.

I'd imagine it would be fairly closely tied to the number of couples who have an open, positive outlook on sex. I have no idea how you would capture this information.

We were invited to a sex toy party just the other day. It still carries a "naughty" stigma, but it's real damned common. My money is also on "more than you think".
