Why does Entourage hate me?

Why does the first episode of the third season of Entourage refuse to play on my mac? The second episode of this season, as well as the the entire second season play fine (all hd xvid). I've downloaded several copies but none of them play. Any advice?
Try downloading VLC -- it is a great open source player that plays everything!

I use mPlayer, works great. I keep mPlayer in the dock and drag each file to it individually to play them. Woo Entourage!

VLC or MPlayer usually solve everything.
also, try to turn your Mac off and then restart it. who knows.

Response by poster: Sorry, I forgot to mention that I am using VLC. I tried upgrading to the latest version and it still did not play.

What error does VLC give? As awesome as VLC is, it's not quite as forgiving on Mac OS as Windows Media Player is on Windows. A lot of times there are errors in the file that it just can't handle. You might want to look for a non-HD version.

maybe its corrupted. just like you, downloading precious costly episodes off the internet. for shame!

Most likely the file is corrupted or is a fake. Make sure you get the eztv version. Always good quality.. www.eztvefnet.org

I feel the show is going to get bad fast.
Why does everything have to be a big problem? I mean, why does the whole gang have to go meet Jeremy Piven just to see who Vince is taking to the premiere -- as if that will make or break his career.
I mean, yes, that's exactly what keeps me from going to Cameron movies -- who the star took to the premiere.
