ADHD looking for a hands-on approach for accountability, and task mngt

I have ADHD and I am looking for a hands-on approach to boost accountability, guidance, and task management. I've tried Focusmate, which works well as a body double, but I need more interactive support. Are there any other options you’d recommend?

I'm especially interested in a low-cost Virtual Executive Assistant (VA) with a coaching focus, someone who can help with regular check-ins, organizing tasks in Asana, and keeping me accountable. Ideally, they would also offer strategy sessions to help me work through tasks when I feel stuck. or if there are other apps or sites I can try.

CHADD’s page on ADHD coaching has directory links near the bottom that could help. Scroll down to “Suggested Web sites”.

This sounds like something that a social worker or therapist might be able to help with, would your insurance help cover that? I know that my insurance offers Headspace Care for free, but only the coaching part (the therapy and psychiatry part of the app have copays). It's mental health coaching, so they can help with mental health goals (including staying organized). Your doctor's office might be able to help connect you with someone.

I used Boss as a Service briefly (https://bossasaservice.com/). Personally the daily check-ins were too pushy for me, but it's possible that they could lower the frequency to once every couple days or a week. My "boss" asked for my preferred management style, and was very supportive and encouraging rather than strict or demanding (but again, every. single. day. It was too much). That said, I don't know that $25/month counts as low cost for most people. They do have a yearly subscription that comes out to $16/month.

There are also AI tools like GoblinTools, and pi.ai. I've used both and found them helpful. I find AI problematic for many reasons and try to limit my use, but both have reasonable privacy policies and I would feel ok about using them for something like this (although I would remove sensitive and identifying data from my to-do list first - locations, names, medical history).
