Blow away now

I want to connect a K bottle with (probably) CGA 540 valve to an air blow gun. What kind of gauge/ regulator/ adaptors will I need?

We use a *lot* of "air in a can" at work, looking to replace them with tanked air. I can get tanked air for about 1/10th the price of air in a can per cubic foot, but I'm not sure what kind of regulator I'll need, hosing, or the kind of adaptors.

I understand that different air blow guns will have different connectors; I have an electrostatic air blow gun with this type of connector. I'm not even sure what the connector is called. (exploded view)

TIA!

The firsr part of that connector (closest to the blower) looks like a pretty standard pneumatic / compressed air quick release coupling, that most people with workshop compressors / plumbed air systems, would use to change between tools.

It also looks like your air blower is threaded too, so you could add whatever connector you need (it'll be an imperial thread rather than metric).

Depending on the cleanliness of the air you need, have you considered getting a small portable compressor instead of buying pre-bottled stuff? (you can also buy filters that go in-line to filter loads to make breathable clean air).

If you're able to make it in person to a small family type hardware store, especially if the sell pneumatic powered air tools (grinders, wrenches, etc.), they're likely to have readily available options for you in-store.

Otherwise with just a few basic tools, you could make connectors to work with pretty much any size air hose. Just look up pneumatic connections.
