What's the name of this firm foam exercise mat product?

It's been years since I went to the gym. But when I was last there, they had these very firm foam exercise mats. You couldn't roll them up (not a yoga mag), they didn't really give much, but they were light weight. I think they might have been 4' x 6' x .25". Does anyone know I'm talking about? My web searches have totally failed me.
Maybe something here is what you’re thinking of? At my Planet Fitness, we have lightweight foam mats in the stretching and core area, but the dimensions are more like 2’ x 5’ x 1”.

What you're describing sounds specifically like the folding fitness mats from charcoals' link.

Do the pieces interlock?
I like stall mats. But they're rubber, not foam, so they're a lot heavier. (Also known as rubber gym mats)
It sounds like you're describing foam gym mats, as linked above by others. I like the 2'x2' ones because they're easy to pull up, toss in the yard, and hose off.

Most things that turn up in searches for "gym mat" are EVA foam. If the mat you're thinking of is 1/4" thick and can't be rolled up, then it's definitely not EVA foam, so you can pretty much eliminate the vast majority of common results.
I'd say search for things like "treadmill mats", equipment mats, utility mats, etc. There's so many products on the market now that are vaguely rubber-ish and go on the floor.
