What is the song/artist in this commercial for the Toyota Echo?

Or better still, is there some resource out there that answers "what's the song from that commercial?" on a broad basis? I'd be amazed if there weren't at least some Geocities site out there with commercial-to-musician mappings, considering it's not the most uncommon question.

This may seem glib, but my guess is that the credit for "music" at the bottom of the page you linked to (Roc Gagliese, The Eggplant) is what you're hunting for. I've never heard of either party (and Google doesn't seem to have, either), which sucks - it's a cool lil' sample. I think it's probably The Eggplant's fault for choosing such a difficult-to-google name. (Though !!! is worse...)

It isn't the right credit Marquis. The eggplant refers to another commercial in the same series - where there is a flytrap in the trunk that eats a grocery store employee.

Actually, I think you're right. I have no idea why i thought the eggplant refered to the venus flytrap commercial only.

The worst case I ever had of this was the Clannad song from the Volkwagen commercial. Drove me nuts for years.

I've been trying to figure out what this song is as well, but the usual resources are coming up blank. I'm thinking it was produced just for this ad, and probably exists in no form other than what we here on the spot.
