Place to bring my dog to avoid fireworks

I'd like to find a relaxing place to bring my dog July 3-6 to avoid firework sounds as much as is reasonable. Northern California please. (We'll drive from SF).

Carmel is the place you want. Many counties try to forbid fireworks, but as one can imagine, Carmel can actually make that happen.

We escaped July 4th 2022 at the dog friendly Yuba River Inn. Lots of nearby hikes and swimming holes.

Arnold! Anywhere in fire country, basically: anywhere that fireworks are illegal and people are sensible enough to not do them illegally.

If you camp, Hendy Woods State Park is dog-friendly and decidedly fireworks-free.

The Mendocino area has a number of dog-friendly lodging options. I’d caution against camping unless you know your dog is ok with crackling campfire sounds—-we found out the hard way last year that ours is not.

Santa Cruz mountains is another place that is anti-fireworks because it's so fire-prone
