Can you identify this painting behind a head?

I'm interested in this painting - any idea what it is? (The head isn't part of it, obviously.)

It would help if we knew what movie/tv show this was from so we can see if there's any better examples of the painting. (I recognize it but cannot place it.)

Response by poster: portrayed time/place: 1980's United Kingdom TV executive's office.

It's from the first episode of "Nolly" that just became available on PBS.org in the US. So, you can go watch it for free!

This is maybe halfway through ish when that dude is telling Nolly's agent that she's being written out of the soap she's been on for decades. (This is based on real events from ~ the 80's, so this isn't a spoiler so much as a teaser)

Thanks for asking!

I poked around for a while getting cleaner shots of the painting, there's a few frames at 40:15 or so that you can see more of the painting, but it doesn't reveal anything. Reverse image search didn't work on the painting.

It’s giving me Gerhard Richter vibes (scroll down a bit to the “Abstracts” section.)
