Deleting Facebook and Instagram activity in bulk?

I'd like to delete a whole lot of the activity I see when I look at my Facebook "activity log." Is there a way to do it in bulk, or only one item at a time? Similarly: is there a way to delete Instagram posts by the batch, or only one photo at a time?

I do not want to delete my accounts yet. Please do not suggest deleting my accounts as an answer to this question.

without googling i am willing to bet $10 that it's 1 at a time, because i spent a long month++ unfollowing on instagram, one account at a time, and no more than 50 accounts a day. it was infuriating.

I think they know that if they let folks nuke their accounts too quickly, many people would.
