Help me identify what these rusty metal things are for!

Recently purchased a house in Savannah, GA, built in 1902. Our contractor found these under our house. Any idea what they're for?

It's a bracket to hang a wall mounted sink on. You bolt this into the wall and then hook the cutouts of your porcelain sink over the little stick out lip thingies. I think.

I think phunniemee has it - definitely brackets, for something heavy. Older sinks (like a laundry sink) would have been enameled cast iron, and quite heavy.

The American Standard logo matches up. Sink, but not original to a 1902 house.

Sink brackets for sure. Probably for hanging cast iron sinks rather than porcelain.

I expect that D & M WKS --> Dawes and Myler Works, which became part of the Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Company in 1875
