How thick is the screen of a Dell XPS 15?

I have been tasked with sourcing some laptops which will be used with double screen-extenders. The unit I'm looking at says it fits 15" laptops, as long as the screen is less than 7mm thick.
Anyone got an XPS 15 and a pair of calipers?
Commenting in case you are considering refurbished laptops: I have a ~3 yr old XPS 15 laptop and the screen is definitely less that 5 mm (so would expect the same for newer laptops).
I hate this laptop with a burning passion, it is very noisy (probably a Windows thing) and the keyboard is very uncomfortable - I mainly use it docked with a proper keyboard but whenever I am on the road or at customers I spend more time fighting the keyboard than doing any actual typing. So would not recommend.

Best answer: And in case you're considering really old refurbished laptops: my work laptop is a 2017-vintage XPS 15 9560, and its screen is 5mm thick.

WHICH version of XPS 15? There are several generations worth of XPS15, just to be pedantic.

Best answer: I have a 2017 XPS15 and calipers and measured from bezel <> thickest part (rather than at the edge, which is a touch thinner) it is 7mm on the nose.
FYI unlike an earlier responder I've been very happy with my XPS 15, including the keyboard. I just replaced the battery and it is running great. The only hiccup was I had to get the motherboard replaced about 3 years ago.>
