Help me find this online comic/cartoon

There's a cartoon, which I can't currently find, which has someone asking why someone writes/makes such dark art. And the person sends their art on a long chain, over a cliff. Down into the darkness. And a hand reaches out of the blackest darkness, and grabs the chain as a handhold to lift them up a tiny bit.
