How to Dress a Summer Goth (Middle-Aged Version)

You all came through in my last clothing related Ask Me. Maybe you can for this one too?

Looking for pants and top recommendations. Preferred criteria are:

* for pants, loose around the legs for a little circulation (I'm still wearing my black skinny jeans to work but it's getting hotter and the walk home is getting stickier), some tummy control (I am 46, after all), would like pockets

* Does no one make sleeveless tops that aren't skintight anymore? My usual gauntlet of tank tops are really meant for layering the thicker clothes I wear when it's not summer, also I'm busty so I try to keep the cleavage to a minimum in a work setting. Would love tops that are boat-necked, cap sleeves or sleeveless and longer length to show off my lovely tattoos

*Available in Canada; listen, with a looming recession and exchange rates not being my friend, I would rather not have to order from the US or elsewhere if I can manage it!

And yes, I want it all black. Mmmm. Black clothing 4LYFE.

I look forward to hearing your marvelous recommendations!

First of all, I really hope Summer Goth is a Stop Podcasting Yourself reference.

I am American but tried to find stores that are either in Canada but ship to Canada.

J. Jill does a pretty great job of tops that skim rather than cling. See this tank, this tee, these cropped pants, and maybe these pants.

Athleta has some great options! See this top, this tank, this tank, and maybe these pants. Also this jumpsuit is fun and could be a great summer goth look.

A bit pricy, but Eileen Fisher has some really great options.

Boden has more black in fall/winter, but this could work.

Pact: lightweight ruffle cap sleeve top, comfy pants
Nooworks: anything in the Odin print, of course, though they also have things in solid black.

As an apple-shaped person with all my weight in the tummy, I've actually found that elastic-waist, wide-leg pants that fit at my natural waist are super flattering, comfortable, and suitable for summers in the south (especially linen). H&M has several versions that come in black, and this b&w print that I get lots of complements on. They can also be dressed up or down quite easily! Another term you might try is "palazzo" pants which are wide leg but I think with a more flared/pronounced wideness.

Laura has lots of pants in black, even if the brand's aesthetic isn't goth. You can usually find things on sale, which is a bonus.
Red Coral can be very cutesy, but has basics in black tops and pants.

I am really into this local to me clothes company. Curator SF isn't necessarily goth clothes bu pretty much every style they sell comes in black and their clothes are loose and airy and super comfortable.
